About this Speaker

Denise D’Angelo Roland is a teacher, educator, award-winning author, wife, mom, and advocate for digital health. Denise attended Long Island University and graduated suma cum laude with a BA in psychology and a minor in business management. She continued her education at Hofstra University earning a MS in Health Education and a MS in School Counseling, both with highest distinction. With a passion for early childhood education, Denise has spent the first 20 years of her career as a teacher, primarily in the New York public school system. Denise is the “Mom’s Choice Award” winning children’s book author of “Please, Look up at Me” and “Papa’s Gift”, and the creator of the Intentionally Unplugged initiative. She lives on the Eastern End of Long Island with her husband, 3 children, and Labradoodle.
